About These Terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the VBE Wines website and any purchase you make through it, including our 2 Bottle subscription. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, contact us at kelly@vinitywines.co.uk.
Age Restriction
This website sells alcohol and is intended only for people aged 18 or over. By browsing or ordering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We use an age verification check and may require further proof of age at the point of delivery — the courier will not leave alcohol with anyone under 18. It is an offence to purchase alcohol for anyone under 18.
Orders & Acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order and payment is taken. In the rare case a wine becomes unavailable after you order (for example, if we sell out mid-day), we will contact you to arrange a substitute of equal or better value, or a full refund — your choice.
Pricing
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Prices, offers, and bin-end availability may change at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Occasionally a pricing error may occur; if we cannot honour an incorrect price, we will cancel the affected order and refund you in full.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including Clearpay for eligible orders. Clearpay purchases are subject to Clearpay’s own terms — pay in 4 interest-free instalments, subject to approval. We do not store your card details.
Delivery
We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom as shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance and are not guaranteed. Delivery is made to the address you provide; it is your responsibility to make sure it is correct. Someone aged 18 or over must be available to receive the delivery. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
The 2 Bottle Subscription
Our subscription delivers a curated box of 2 bottles on the schedule you choose (every 1, 2, or 6 months) in your preferred style (red, white, rosé, or mixed). Each box is billed at £22 per box at your chosen frequency. Your first box is discounted as shown at sign-up. You can cancel at any time before your next billing date by emailing kelly@vinitywines.co.uk, and you will receive any box you have already paid for. Cancellations take effect from the next billing date and no further charges will be taken.
Discount Codes
Discount codes are valid only as described when issued, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be limited to one use per customer. We may withdraw a code at any time if it is shared outside its intended audience or used in a way we consider abusive.
Returns
Your rights to cancel, return, and refund are set out in our Returns Policy, including your statutory 14-day right to cancel. These terms do not limit those rights.
Availability & Stock
Our wines are stocked in limited quantities, and bin-end wines especially can sell out quickly. Where a wine becomes unavailable, we will contact you as described in the Orders section. Stock shown on the site is an indication and not a reservation.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, imagery, logos, and design — belongs to VBE Wines or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it without our written consent.
Liability
We work hard to make sure the site is accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under law. Otherwise, our liability for any claim relating to your use of the site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The terms in force are the ones shown here at the time you place your order.
